Faith and Wealth

Is there any relation between oneís faith and his wealth? According to a survey in America, there are correlations between Americanís background, their education and income.

Survey finds Hindus and reformed Jews as more educated and wealthy. Baptists, Pentecostals, and Jehovahís Witnesses are at the lowest level. According to the survey Protestants are Ďpoorer than average and poorer Catholicsí.

Even though not all agree to this study, one thing is note worthy; faith does influence oneís entire life style, including education and wealth.

As a matter of fact itís very hard for a Christian to be wealthier, for he does not just follow the lifestyle of this world. His standard of living is according to Godís plan for him. He does not just live to accumulate money. The way believer earns money and the way he spends is according to Godís plan. He knows that he is just a custodian of Godís capital and faithfully use it for Godís purposes. . Haggai 2:8; 1Timothy 6:17; Matthew 6:19, 20; Luke 12:15
