Pope Pleads to protect humanity from homosexuality
According to a Press Trust of India report, Pope Benedict has said that saving humanity from homosexual behaviour is just as important as saving the rainforest. Pope described behaviour beyond traditional heterosexual relations as a destruction of God's work. The failure to respect the union between man and woman amounted to the auto destruction of mankind. “The tropical forests deserve our protection but man as a creature deserves it no less”, the Pope said.
The irony is that even the report itself is indirectly condemning the Pope, saying it is a hard line take by an aggressive, doctrine-enforcing Pope. It is a serious thing to notice that the media and many other well know people in the society openly support such sexual perversion.
Many consider homosexuality as an orientation one is born with. They say “it is like being born left handed; it is what you are and there is nothing you can do about it”.
India is among the few countries where homosexuality is penalized. There are many in India and elsewhere who raise voice in support of legalizing homosexuality.
Whatever may be the argument of the experts, media or rights activists, it doesn't need much research to find out that it is a perversion. Heterosexual relation is not just a traditional behaviour, but that it the way God has created man. Perverted ideologies of sinful man have already brought much havoc among mankind. Its ill effect is not just confined to spirituality or morality of an individual but even affects the whole of society.
When the society at large allows such distorted deeds and live-in relationships what value remains for family. To those who feel guilty about their evil conduct, modern man will counsel that it's normal, do not feel guilty.
Christians need to be aware of the influence they and their children get from media and other sources. Let us go by the Biblical statutes. Homosexuality and all other sexual perversions are evil and man will have to reap the consequences today or tomorrow.
