Free Beer for Attending Church

Church of England in parts of UK distributed free bear to fathers who attended church on ‘Fathers Day'. Church is concerned over the poor attendance of men for church services through out the year.

       Apart from beer, bacon rolls and chocolate bars were also given away to fathers who attended church on 21 st June 09. They say that it is an alternative ‘blessing' for Father's Day. One bishop said, the free beer was symbolic of God's generosity!

   Many wonder what would be the next item church will offer!

       What a sad state of the church today! People become so selfish that they seek God only for personal gains. Now church has become a place to seek pleasure. James 4:3, 4; John 6:44
