The Mind of Christ: The Believer’s Privilege 1Cor. 2:16c
““For "WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD THAT HE MAY INSTRUCT HIM?" But we have the mind of Christ.” 1Cor. 2:16”
One of the most important, blessed privileges of a Christian is to have the ‘mind of Christ’. We find its significance only when we understand the terrible state of man before his conversion. Apostle Paul quoting from the book of Isaiah emphatically declares in the form of a question; “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” Notice three things in this question.
1. No man knows the mind of the Lord.
2. God does not need the counsel of man.
3. Believers have the mind of Christ.
Today, the believer in Christ is able to know Christ’s desire and even think as He would. We ought to make sure that we maintain a Christ-like mind consistently and not let it be just a doctrinal truth. Remember, our thoughts are so powerful that it can control our entire life. Our mind actually determines the kind of person we are, whether good or bad. ->>>More

Assembling an Appliance
A man had bought a new machine - unassembled, of course - and after reading and rereading the instructions he couldn't figure out how to assemble it. Finally, he sought the help of an old handyman who was working in the backyard.
The old fellow picked up the pieces, studied them, and then began assembling the gadget. In a short time, he had it put together. "That's amazing," said the man. "And you did it without even looking at the manual!"
"Fact is," said the old man, "I can't read, and when a fellow can't read, he's got to think."

Uncle Silas C. Nair
Uncle Silas C. Nair who went to be with the Lord on 13 February 2021 is one of the few who influenced me tremendously in connection with my Christian life and ministry. Even though he was my teacher in the Bible Institutes I studied, my personal relationship with uncle Silas grew from the day I came to Bombay as a commended worker in 1985. I can never forget his help and involvement during the formation of Rehoboth Brethren Assembly Malad in 1986. ->>>More
