Reliable Reasons to Rejoice
“You have done wonderful things! Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.” Isaiah 25:1b
Unfortunate incidents and situations leave us worried and confused. However in such conditions one can assure his / her heart that God does not make a mistake. Because there is nothing that takes place with out the knowledge and permission of God. His counsels are eternal and reliable. .
We can trust in Gods purposes for He will faithfully fulfill everything He planned. Delay to execute an eternally purposed program of God is only for a brief period. God is waiting for the His own perfect time. Faithfulness is one of His attributes and He can never deny that nature.
How much this truth should encourage us to face various circumstances that we come across in life? At the same time this fact should also prompt us to seek His counsel for that alone will come to pass.
Let us wait upon the Lord and trust Him humbly by yielding to His plan in our life. For “His counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.” Such confidence in the divine nature and purposes makes us bold and happy in any circumstances.
