A Blameless Ministry

“We give no offense in anything that our ministry not be blamed”. 2 Corinthians.6:3

Notice the effort and commitment of Apostle Paul in keeping the ministry blameless. His attempt was not just to do something for the Lord, but to do it in a manner which is above reproach.

A defiled ministry will give more harm to the cause of Christ. It’s not only a disgrace to the minister, but also to Christ in whose name he worked. No doubt Devil will be happy to see such ministry progressing for he can use such a spectacular work and workers for his own purposes in the due time.

It is important to note that the minister is more important than the ministry. Minister should examine himself, whether he is worthy to carry out such a great task for God. Notice vs.4 “In all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God.” Workers have to prove their credentials through life, as Paul claims.

The local Church also should scrutinize the claims of the minister and discourage the unworthy and tainted ones from spiritual service. Let us make sure that the ministry is not blamed, but honored for the glory of Christ, whom we serve.
